She is the amazing woman that pre-filed this bill. I have contacted her office this morning and left a message for her to return my call. I told her secretary how important this bill is for us and that we are willing to do whatever she needs to help get this bill passed. Are ya'll ready to go downtown with some signs????? I am serious guys. The House is in session NOW. As soon as I find out what day they are voting on this we need to go down there and stand out front with signs and let them know that we need a YES on this!!! Shree

Shree, let us know what Rep. Randall says about how we can help! If it means congregating and sign carryin' so be it! I know NUMBERS speak the loudest. We canNOT be silent observers. I have to get off my DUFF as well to support. I've always been such a passive person, as many of us are, I expect. We have to change that and be heard. I've already written my letter online to my rep. Keep us posted!

I just got a call back from Rep. Randall. She said that we should all write our representatives and let them know how important this is. She was INCREDIBLY nice and supportive. She has had a couple of family members and friends that have had the surgery done as well. She is VERY aware of how important this is for us!!! I told her to let me know what day the vote will be so we could go down there. Guess what?!?!?! I might be testifying to the committees and POSSIBLY the HOUSE!!! I also gave her this website so she could check it out. Man, you guys in Macon have a wonderful REP!!! I will keep you posted. Oh, by the way....Dr. Burrowes is a friend of hers and is spear-heading this bill so YEA for Dr. Burrowes!!! PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE write those letters ASAP. I agree, I have already emailed our rep. We need to be heard on this. There are so many people affected and the insurance companies need to to be required to pay for this surgery.
