Update...I saw Dr Smith today!!

Hi All, Just wanted to let you all know how I'm doing now. Saw Dr Smith today, but I still have my drain tube and bag....I go back to Atlanta on Jan 25th for a tube study with dye...this means that on the 25th they will run dye into my old stomach and if it goes out, then they will remove this drain tube and bag, but if not then I will have to have surgery again. So please keep me in your prayers. I am so tried of being a bag lady . Good news....I'm down to 208lbs Martha

Glad to hear from you and get an update. Dr. Smith is my doctor too, so it makes me nervous that you have had some complications. I have an appt with Dr. Smith on 01/25 also. I hope and pray you wont have to have another surgery. Will you be attending the Convention on Saturday? It's so hard to understand why "bad" things happen to "good" people, Martha. I promise to pray that your Jan. 25 appt. will bring the good news you need and that you will NOT have to have another surgery. I'm happy for your weight loss but my heart is burdened along with you and your ordeal. Take care of yourself and keep us posted.
