Has anyone found a chewable iron supplement that is easy to tolerate? My Dr. sells some, but I have found all my other vitamins elsewhere much cheaper. Please give number of mg and price - thanks!! Any ideas? Amanda

On my list that I got before surgery, I am supposed to take the following: multivitamin iron supplement calcium supplement B-12 But, on my list of things to do post op, the iron isn't listed - should I wait until my post op appointment and let him check my iron levels? Amanda

I too have to have iron for after surgery, however I was told by my doctor also to get this. They dont make an iron chewable but what I did do was go to GNC and get a capsule of iron and the guy there told me to ***** it and squeeze the liquid out. mix it with like applesauce or something. I also did the same thing for my b complex that I have to take. I got a capsule. They had them buy one get one 50% off. and they were really only like 7.99 a bottle. I also have to take a liquid b-12 too, and my chewable childrent multi vitamin. I had the best help I could at the local GNC store in getting all the stuff that I had to have for after my sugery. good luck .. jen
