How long in pain?!?!?!

My left shoulder is KILLING me!!! From the moment I woke up from the surgery, I have had pain ranging from achy to plain out knife in the bone and it is keeping me up at night! I wrote it off as gas pain at first, but I am 5 days post-op...The pain around my insicions is almost gone now, so why is this shoulder junk sticking around??? This has got to go away soon....right??? Sorry for the rant, Amanda

Amanda, CONGRATULATIONS on having your surgery and getting closer to becoming a new "you." I am so sorry to hear of your shoulder pain. I can just imagine it as you speak of it! Have you told your doctor about this? If so, what did he/she say? Hopefully, this is nothing serious and hopefully they can give you something to alleviate the pain or make it go away. AMANDA THAT IS WHERE THEY WORKED AROUNF THE DIPHRAM ITS THE SAME NERVE THAT RUNS TO YOU SHOULDER I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM IT WILL GET BETTER
