Scars...

I was wondering if anyone knew about the scarring that occurs when the weight is gone and you get the excess skin removed. I havent had wls but im loosing the weight on my own and currently i am 256 down from 296 and my skin already looks "melted" and i know theres no hope for shrinking. ive seen pictures online of the post-op scarring but its only a few months after. im just curious how well the scars will heal over a longer period of time, like a year or so. well ive not had a tummy tuck , but i had an emergercy c-section back in june 2001 and they cut me hip to hip to get the baby out. and in the first year my scar was really red and yucky... but now that it has been a few years it has faded and you can tell it is there but you have to be looking for it.. i plan to have a tummy tuck done after I loose all my weight and then again I will have another scar again.. but its worth it to have a flat tummy..
