Getting ready for surgery

hey to everyone, Im having surgery on Jan 14, and I need to know what I should get done before surgery.. Like am I suppose to be watching what I eat the week before or what. The surgeron has not told me anything. I got all my vit, and baby foods. but is there anything else I need to be doing. Jen

Hey Jennifer - chances are you will have to go in for a pre-op appointment just before surgery and you will get the 'rules' then.... If you aren't scheduled for anything like that then definitely call your surgeons office and ask.. Each surgeon is different and requires different stuff.. some make you go on liquids for a period of time, some make you do a bowel prep, etc.... So definitely don't be afraid to give them a call and find out everything you need to know.. Hugs - lynnda
