Dr. Titus Duncan ?
I'm not 100% sure of this, as I have no connection with the practice anymore, but I thought I read that Duncan will not do higher bmi's now. Or at the very least will require a large weight loss before surgery.
I believe there is a poster on here, her name escapes me at the moment, who had to find another doctor as the requirrements put on her prior to surgery, by Duncan's office, were un-achievable. (Huge weight loss in a short period of time)
Have you checked with Dr. John Daly or Dr. Christopher Hart? Neither are paid subscribers to OH, but if you search you can find them.
Good Luck to you, I hope you find a caring doctor to do your surgery.

I'm soooo pleased with Dr. Celio Burrowes as well. I'm not sure about if he has a "max" BMI before surgery. I know mine was 55 and he operated on me and I didn't have any problems. You could call and ask. It might also have to do with "IF" you have other medical problems that could put you more at risk, heart/diabetes, etc. He might even have to check you first.
I went to three doctors before I decided. Make some appts. and "interview" them. See what sort of feelings you walk away with.
