What do I need SERIOUSLY to go out and buy this week so I will have it at the house for post-op. What do I need and where do I get it??? C'mon you veterans...break it down for me *lol*. Shree

Shree, That depends on your surgeon. But, post op the first week, I had.. sugar free popsicles sugar free jello broths isopure already mixed (like crystal light) after three days I could have: cream of something soups..mushroom, chicken, potato, etc bean soups and more of the above... skim milk or carb control milk protein powder lots and lots of water. Also, measuring spoons tiny glasses measuring cup that measures ounces thermometer vitamins baby sippy cup...will help you not to gulp, help you measure, and help keep from air going in, which can be painful. I would not go out and go crazy with the protein drinks...you will probably find that your taste and what you like changes immediately after surgery. You will not need much, cause you will probably only eat a spoon or two. Hope this helps!! Good luck girl, you will do great!! Hugs, Kathy
