HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Sorry I have been MIA and haven't been responding, but thanks to Comcast I didn't have any internet for almost four days. I tried to explain to them that I HAD to have the computer, but they didn't listen to me 
Anyway....I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and has an even better 2005!!!
I had all of my pre-op stuff on Thursday...dang, why didn't y'all warn me about the Upper GI and small bowel thing. THAT STUFF IS NASTY!!!! Thank goodness the tech in there was friendly and funny..she made the process ALOT easier. I had all kinds of ultra sounds, chest x-ray, that damn Upper GI and small bowel (still makes me nausious thinking about it 
), a Pulmonary Function test and THEN they drew all of my blood out for tests *grin*, but I am DONE with all of that. 9 more days!!! 9 more days!! I never thought I would be this close. I may be going to the hospital alone though and that kinda sucks but I will deal with it.
I went by to see Amy Clay after I was done on Thursday...she was sitting up and said she felt fine. I think she was anxious to get out of there though *lol*. Thanks for the first hand info , Amy and I am sorry I couldn't stay longer.
Just wanted to say that I love y'all and thank you for everything. Those of you who are waiting for approval PLEASE don't give up and if you need anything please let me know. 2005 is going to be OUR year!!! Today starts a new year for me...I am going to try to be more positive, more social, try some new things and begin LIVING again.........those are my resolutions. By the grace of God I hope to make it through this surgery fine and fulfill all of those things. Thank you so much for all of your support and help...I love ya'll

I am sure you are getting very excited and nervous about the upcoming surgery. Where are you having surgery done? I noticed you live in Marietta; I am in Marietta as well on the west side near cobb general.
I don't have any family here and am single so I would love to get to know you.
Please let us know if you will be going to the hosptial by yourself; no one should be in that position and if there is anything I can do to help or be there for me please let me know.
