Jan 15th/Atlanta event/After party/dinner?

Isn't the meeting in Norcross? That's exit 99 off of 85...Pleasant Hill Road(where we went to Joe's) is just 5 miles up the highway and there are a TON of restaurants there. They have a Bahama Breeze there as well as anything else you can think of. Bahama Breeze is YUMMY and they make a great Bahamarita! Sherry

Sounds like this is close to where we had our November shindig at Joe's Crab Shack. Our wonderful activity coordinator was (screen name) Modean Ryan. Tami, we need ya babe. You know this area and play well with others!!!!! Can ya help out. I have scheduled this Mommy off for that weekend. I am free Friday night and don't have to report back to duty (lol****il Sunday afternoon! YEA! YIPPEE!!! So I can come up and play.... Already bought the ticket, just have to figure out the schedule. As for my WR group, we all must have had a good holiday cause none of us out here on the board!!!! Well hello there Cheryl... How do you like it there in GA vs living in Sacto and OC? I really like Atlanta but the weather would kill me.. I am so spoiled having lived in San Diego all my life.. total BABY when it comes to too cold or too hot. Where in OC did you live? I am in Irvine and Tustin quite a bit these days. Me TOO!!!! I will be there for business and will not have a car, how can I get around? Will I be able to get to both places on the Marta?????Or can I hitch with someone???? Or do I need to rent a car??? Cheryl

Hey Girl - I will have a car but I am hoping I can hitch a ride with someone as well... Someone who actually KNOWS where they are going My friend Becky lives in Buford and I am hoping she will go out with us that night and mebbe she will drive.. So - have no fear! If we can't hitch us a ride - then I will be the designated driver. Are you staying at the Hilton? I am down the street at the Courtyard... EDS doesn't have rates at the Hilton anymore and I am there for work that week dontchaknow so I stay where they pay! I am not sure what is going on the Friday before... Most of the people I am flying into meet with will be flying out on Friday and I might have to run em to the airport - but other than that I am good for whatever is going on.

Hi Lynnda - Atlanta is gorgeous! So many trees, flowers, hills. The only negative is the pollen that produces all tis beauty. Allergies have been terrible here, but once I found something to control that - no problem. But then, San Diego is one of the greatest places in the world to live, so I can't exactly feel sorry for you. I lived in Santa Ana, Orange, and Fullerton. But also spent lots of time in Irvine and Tustin with friends. It will be great to meet you. Cheryl

Lynnda, I have been following your profile since I became a member here at OH. I am so excited about finally meeting you!! I am so looking forward to the OH convention also. I vote we meet up at Bahama Breeze! I LOVE their food and the atmosphere is great! Then we can head on over to one of the night clubs in the area.
