Anyone from Central GA

Is anyone from Central GA going to the Support Group Meetings at Coliseum Medical Center??? I was told that they are on the 2 Thursday of each month at 7:00pm. Hey Susan, I am in Hawkinsville and attend the MiniMees support group in Warner Robins. This group is for anybody who has had WLS and is not surgeon specific. It meets the first and third Tuesdays at Flint Electric on Hwy. 96. There is a Macon division of MiniMees and they meet the second and fourth Tuesdays but they don't always meet in the same location. Both groups have a yahoo group that can give you more information. We'd love to have you attend either meeting. I only go to the one in Warner Robins due to the drive. Hi Susan, I am new to all this and am only considering having surgery. My first appt is in Atlanta on the 17th since the doctors office I called in Macon is not seeing patients there anymore. Have you already had the surgery? Oh and I am from Eastman.

Hi D'Lynn, Yes, I have had my surgery on Dec 1st. Be glad the doctors in Macon aren't doing the surgery anymore. You are definitely doing the right thing by going to Atlanta.
