HO! HO! HO!

I wanted to take the time to let you know how very special you all are and will continue to be in my life. You know this is a SAFE place where we can be ourselves and be accepted. When one has pain or trials, we all hurt! When one celebrates, we share the joy! When one learns something new, we all, hopefully, gain from that experience! You are my mentors, my encouragers, and my friends! I truly believe that the Lord sent me to this group! I am very thankful for each of you, and wish you a merry Christmas and the best year ever in 2005!!! Oh, I DID get a B12 shot on Thursday. Thank the Lord, it REALLY helped!!! The in-law party of 25 went well..."relatively" speaking. I have retained the title of best daughter-in-law. I am the senior wife, so it is fair! Now that the cousins can no longer "lovingly" tease about my size, my cooking will now be the joke of choice. It's okay, since I know everything tasted "somewhat" great!!! Please know the teasing was consentual. I have sat on many of these evil kinsfolks and bounced very hard. Now, I miss that part! My house is clean! Hallelujah!!! I feel a great sense of peace tonight!!! My Aunt Ruth even said she had her Becky back. I'm not sure where her Becky had gone, but she feels pretty good right now. Dad and Mom say I'm just right!!! Hubby always made me feel that way! Best part, my son is sober and happy!!!! God is good all the time! Thank you, Jesus! I love you all!!! Becky - I have to be the most long-winded person around! Sorry!

Hey Becky, I am glad you feel better with getting the B-12 shot. I hope you had a great Christmas I sure did! Tomorrow I see my family and over half of them have not seen me since July. That was 68lbs ago. I am so excited to see how they react. My mom and Tammy think I look great. I am now in a size Large. a 14/16 pants. I feel so blessed to have had this surgery even tho sometimes my stomach hurts and the gas isn't fun either. I am glad to hear about Drew being sober.Praise God. My brother is in jail right now.Darlene would be so upset with him. Well all is well here and happy. Lov ya girl, Terri

Becky, You are so right about this being a safe place to be! Many times I have said to myself that I just don't know what I would do without you all in my life! HO HO HO to you my dear Becky! Long winded is certainly not something I have ever considered you! Long on heart and compassion, yeah! Glad the B12 was helpful. I have yet to try a shot... that may come after the first of the year, when I have to get back into the routine. OF COURSE you are the favorite DIL!! How could you NOT be? Hey! You could STILL bounce on those folks, only this time, your BONEY BUTT will the the source of pain instead of the extra pounds! LOL! Take care my friend!! Luv ya!
