Hey everyone, I am having some VERY bad stomach pains, it is under my left breast kinda toward the middle of my stomach, when the pain starts it feels like a real bad burning & stretching pain & when I move or bend over it is like I can feel a knot or something. It hurts really bad. I went back to my PCP today for my 6 month weight loss history & last month he gave me protonix & said try it for a month & I did but it didn't help at all. He said he would do a x-ray or ultrasound if the pain is still their this month, so today I went back & of course he didn't do a x-ray or anything except mash on my stomach & he said it was my colon tucking under my spleen due to the abdominal weight I have & said after surgery it would go back to normal. Has anyone ever heard of this? You would think my Insurance Co. would go ahead & approve me for my surgery with this problem, but no I have 2 more months of my weight loss history to complete. If anyone has had this problem please tell me the pain get's better. Hope you all have a Merry Christmas. HUGS, Tammy Gunter

Hi, Tammy! I have had a similar pain several times. Once, it was a reaction to a medication. I also heard ringing in my ears. The other time, it was actually my gall bladder. The pain radiated through my stomach area and back. It would feel better when I had someone walk on my back. It took six months and many attacks to figure out what it was. The first tests were all on my stomach. I would keep going back to the doctor until you get relief or find out what it is.

Tammy, I am having the same kinda pain and it is gas and you have to watch what you are eating and also get in enough water. I have tried papaya enzymes and they really work. But I will get rid of it and then a couple of days it will come back. Bu****ch what your eating, that's what I am having to do. I know the pain can be unbearable because the other day it went down to the top of my left leg. Gas is very painful. Have a Great Christmas and God Bless. Terri
