I have a date!!!!
Do my pre-op stuff on Dec. 30th and a surgery date of January 10th!! 
I am so happy I could just BURST!!! It's not that far away either 
I guess I will finally be able to keep the ongoing New Year's Resolution of weight loss in 2005 *lol* I have gone through such a wide array of emotions from excited, to scared, but there is no way in hell that I am scared enough to back out. I have wanted this for SO long and I can't believe that in a few weeks I will finally be on the losing side. I owe the people on this board alot because I probably would have given up after my initial denial...thanks to everyone for your continued support and encouragement. I don't know what I would have done without y'all. Oh, and thanks for the Pre-Op Bag with all the goodies in it...I never knew I would have to strain soup *grin*. I appreciate it alot!!

There you are ...What are you taking two weeks off from work or soemthing ???? Man well congrats on the date ...and everything is cool with them covering it and all that jazz ???? well i guess it will be too late after the fact right LOL LOL LOL wooo hoo that is wonderful ......so when are you coming back to work ????? you missed it the chick that is haveing twins went into labor in the bathroom and they almost had to deliver them here her contractions were two mins apart ........

Hurrah, Shree!!! I am so happy for you!!! Sounds like you are right where I was at this time. One thing I did was write notes to my loved ones, one big one to my parents, siblings, and their families and individual ones for my hubby and son. My whole family uses internet, so it was fairly simple! The cool thing is that I received notes that I will treasure always in return. Maybe I should have had life-altering surgery earlier. Wait a minute, there's no doubt that I should have, but I should not have waited for it to let my family know what they mean to me!!!
