Hmm.. I will have to ask some of my local contacts about the happenins there.. I know good places to eat (since I am usually in Norcross on business) but nowhere to go dancin which is what I *KNOW* you are talking about! -- if any of you Norcross locals know about good stuff... or if you already have plans for Saturday night.. - let me know.. so I can let Bo and Cheryl know.. Or - let's just get an 'after the event' thread going.... I get in on the 12th and have meetings for work on the 13th and 14th but should be able to help out Saturday morning if you need me... I am staying at the Marriott Courtyard/Holcolmb Bridge which is about a block away from the Hilton.. right across the street from Publix... Lemme know.

We as a group from Atalnta often get together (usually once a month) and this is basically we're planning to go to dinner or something after...... Maybe a separate thread for and after party get together might be a good idea!!!! I can't wait to meet all these NEW people! (And welcome them to the wonderful SOUTH!)

Yo Yo Yo ~~ Bo-nana -- Looks like we have a plan coming together for Saturday night after the event.... Dinner at Bahama Breeze followed by a trip to Buckhead and shakin our groove thangs at BellBottoms.... The GA board is just full of fun ideas... Whoohoooo! Give Cheryl a big hug from me and tell her that the 'numb butt' DOES go away eventually.... She should be jumping for joy... her padding is Gone Gone Gone and now her bones are aching till they get use to losing their protective coating.. I am sure she is just shrinking away... Bo, I called to make my reservation at the Hilton and they didn't show a block of rooms set aside for the OH convention. Is this right? There is NO rooms set aside or a discount offered? Thanks, Tonya

Hi Tonya - Not sure if Bo has gotten back to you on this or not but I know there was another thread posted re: the fact that there was no special convention pricing at the Hilton... I am staying at the Courtyard (Holcomb Bridge) cuz I will be there pretty much all week for work - but I just checked availability and pricing and the rooms there are $59/night and it looks like they have availability. It is pretty much right down the street from the Hilton on the other side of the Publix shopping center. I stay there a lot -- and it is nice and clean... There is also a Homewood Suites around there as well as a Marriott - so check around.. I have stayed at that Hilton before and actually prefer the Courtyard lynnda

I live about an hour outside Atlanta and plan on coming.....I'm so excited!!! I am pre-op (looking for a Dr.) and want more info on the surgery, expectations etc.... I will be coming alone since hubby will be working. What can I expect and do I need someone to come along? Or is there someone who would like to meet up and go together? Let me know. Thanks!!!
