Hi all, Just wonderin'....what made you think you had a stricture? And if so, how is the procedure? For the past few nights, I have been emptying my pouch of dinner...usually fish, shrimp, scallops, etc. But, the weird thing is, after eating last night around 6, and vomiting...this morning I still feel the food in my throat. It's like it didn't digest. It was all I could do to keep down my protein shake. I don't think I am overeating..I eat about 3 oz. which is what my doctor recommends. Thanks in advance for the insight! Kathy

Hi Kathy, I had to have an endoscopy a couple of weeks ago. I couldn't get anything down that wasn't liquid or pureed at first, then it got to where I was throwing up the liquids too. That's when I finally called my surgeon. I had been throwing up everything for almost 2 weeks. The procedure wasn't nearly as bad as I feared it would be. They give you something in the IV to relax you,and it wasn't painful. Also, it is really fast- just a few minutes and they are done. I feel much better since I had it done, but my weight loss has slowed. I would go back to liquids for a few days and see if it gets better, then call your doctor if it doesn't. Good luck to you!
