Fruit to eat
Hi, Derrick! I ate a few bites of banana early. From about your point on, I tolerated (a little bit) all but citrus. My nutritionist said to stay away from pineapple because of the texture...could cause a stricture. Most surgeons and their staff have their own rules, so better talk to your doc. I am just now able to handle oranges, grapefruit, etc. at six months. Fruit is my new candy. I love it! Blueberries got me through the early months. Now they are way too expensive. I never liked them before. You may find that your tastes have changed. I would go very slow. Take a bite, and wait a few minutes...that kind of thing.
Hugs,
Becky
Thanks, Ms. Thang (fellow trekie)
I'll hold off until the new year to be safe. I tried eating some blacken fish and throw it up. I was mad because I told Ruby Tuesday to give me just a grilled fish and I didn't check it before I left. I was mad because that was $10 down the drane. I need to start planning my meals so not to eat the same things everyday. Do you know of any post that has an example of a good meal plan?
Later
Derrick
