Hey Guys! I just had to share my latest news. I spent the entire day at The Emory Clinic today. I had my nutrition class this morning. Then the fun really began. I had an echo stress test and ekg. I also had lab work. Then I was off to have my individual session with the nutritionist. I was the only one that made a 100 on the test. I was so proud of that. All my deligent research is paying off. I also had a chest x-ray and that dreaded pulmonary function test done today. Two different ladies stuck me five different times and never got the arterial blood. MAN!!!! After all that, they said well we can't get it so we will leave it alone and do it another way. I ended up having that thing stuck on my finger and they got my oxygen saturation that way. Can you imagine how funny I looked blowing into that machine? The lady kept saying blow it out harder..push..push..and I'm turning red and pushing up..or trying to....lord....I know I was a sight. But I passed. I was getting scared there for a little while. Well, anyway I have to wait for them to call me back and give me my appointment to have the EDG done and then I go back to see Dr. Khaitan and get my surgery date. I'm thinking it will be sometime in January. Everyone please continue to keep me in your prayers as you are always in mine. Oh, before I forget I am down 12 pounds and I only had to be down 10. But with me I gain an unbelievable amout of water from one day to the next. LOL...go figure huh? Anyone else have that problem either pre-op or post-op? Well, I suppose I have rattled on enough. Take care everyone!!! HUGGGGGSSSS!!! Tonya Waters

Hi Tanya, I hate to be the one to tell you this but..... my hubby had his last test (endoscopy) with Dr. Khaitan yesterday. When she talked with me about his test I asked her when she thought she would be scheduleing him for his surgery. She said it looks like sometime in Feburary. UGH! He wasn't pleased about that as you can well imagine. So this morning he called to see why the long wait. It's because Dr. Ramshaw has left and the others are having to take all his cases.
