I am so mad!!!!!!!!!!!

I just called today to find out Intracorp's decision and was told it denied. I can't believe it! How can a doctor tell you that unless you have a significant change in weight very soon you could die and then the insurance deny? I am just ready to throw in the towel! I called ahead of time to ask what the requirements were and I did everything that I was told...I have shelled out so much money to fill these requirements only to be denied! I am beginning to believe that this was never meant to be. I can tell you all one thing....if something happens with my health while I am playing games with this company, it's gonna get nasty!

Tina, I am so sorry, I don't even know what to say to help you feel even a little bit better. I would appeal it. Just because they give you a hard time does not mean that it was meant to be. There are people out there who want to become famous, move to California or New York with NOTHING. And they are able to have their dream. There are alot of stars that lived in their cars and were totally out of money and made things happen. You've got to fight. Raise HELL!! I believe that you can do anything that you want to, sometimes you have to fight harder then others. I'm waiting for my insurance to approve, or deny me, but whatever the outcome, I am DETERMINED to get this surgery. Did you hear about Shree? She has BCBS and they said that they wont be covering wls anymore after January 1st. Shree said that her doctor is booked up for December. I bet that she finds a way around it. It might not be right away, but she will do what she needs to to get this done. The insurance company is not God (thank God for that!) Whatever they say is not the last word!
