8 week check up
Well guys I had my 8 week check up yesterday and all went well. I am down 34 pounds since surgery. When you add the 14 pounds I lost prior to surgery, I'm down a total of 48 pounds. I'm very happy about that. I have been discouraged as it seems that EVERYONE on this board was losing faster than ME! Dr. Fields reassured me that I was doing fine. She set a goal of 13 pounds per month for me. I hope I can keep up that pace.

Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! That is great I bet you can tell a big difference in your clothes! When I went to my 2wk. post op visit I had only lost 7 lbs. so I'll be a slow loser. But that is ok as long as it comes off I'll be happy. I am so happy for you Robin you go girl!!!

YEA!!!!! You are doing great!!!!! Congrats!!! After a while you will conform to totaly poundage lost... ie before + after + _____ and you will just say the ____ amount. I had a really hard time with that one too!!!

Congratulations Robin! You just take your time, the weight will all come off. I know that it can suck to hear the stories of how other members are losing so much weight, but you are doing just fine
