Update on Haylie
Thanks to you all for your encouraging replys to my post on Haylie Menzl yesterday. Her mother has updated us on her condition. I have included a copy of the e-mail for you guys.
Again, thanks so much for your prayers and support. I love you all.

Her mom's e-mail:
Haylie has developed colongygist. I know this is not the way
you spell it, but tomorrow morning Dr Kindell, her GI doctor
is going down her throat into her stomach area with a scope to
try and relieve bile pressure in her liver. She is bloated and
they think it will help drain some of the fluid.
She has had really bad chest pains, sore throat and yesterday
it got worst. So, they did an ex-ray last night and this morning
and said on top of every thing else they think she has
colongygist. But the GOOD NEWS is her liver enzymes are
coming back down and they know it is not her hepatitis C acting.
She will still go to Pittsburgh in a few weeks, to ensure
everything is working properly, but hopefully not have to have
another transplant. She will be put to sleep in the morning for
this procedure.
I just talked to her on the phone and she sounded better,
because they have her on stomach medicine to relieve the
pressure, kinda like pep-to bismo, but different.
So, here we go again. Another procedure. My neice Melanie is
picking me up tomorrow around lunch. We are going by the high
school to pick up a care package from the Advance Chorus for
Haylie. Then she will drive us to Knowville to relieve Rick and
I will stay the weekend with Haylie. If she is not better by
Sunday, then Rick will come back up and we will swap again. The
drugs they have her on for the liver infection, they believe are
under control, but the procedure in the morning at 8:30 est, is
for the colongygist. so, keep your fingers cross, and maybe
this also will help the blockage in her liver bile, where she
want have to have any more surgeries. Especially another
transplant.
If anything changes, you all will be emailed and some called.
Just keep those prayers coming. thanks again, leisa and family
