Yesterday was a good day!!
Yipee!! Not only was it my birthday, but I was off from work. I did a little Christmas shopping with my kids (okay, they are 22 & 20!!), my hubby cooked dinner, and gave me a really nice watch. My watch died last week and he almost chocked when I wanted to buy a new one at lunch time that day, but I got a cheapo sports type watch.
My first birthday after we got married 25 years ago, he got me a nice watch and had it engraved. He tried to get it fixed (he's kept it since it quit working), but couldn't so he got me a new one. It's really pretty - silver and gold with "diamonds" around the face. (I don't think they are real, but they are pretty). It's got a nice, easy-to-read face, too.
My kids gave me an exercise ball (I'd asked for that for Christmas), and the newest Peter Pan movie (with Jason Isaacs) on DVD.
So, it was a great day. Oh, and I'm down to 291 lbs, too!!!

Where I used to work, they set up a gym in the basement and had a few of the exercise balls there and they are great for doing situps, etc. Especially since I have a bad back, plus it's not so easy to get up off of the floor (though I did it at work the other day!!). I haven't tried this one yet, but I highly recommend them.

Hey Ann I am happy you had a good day. We deserve to treat our selves like that right. If we don't who will. And just squeese your hubby for me that is soooooo sweet. Oh he is all sentimental how cute. awww
He kept the watch for safe keeping. giggle giggle.
Okay I love peter pan so watch it once for me as a matter of fact don't tell my kids but you just gave them a new xmas gift. I will buy them the movie just for me to watch
