So, I get up this morning, and head off to the DMV.. 4th time in a month. I get there early enough.. about 10:15. I left at 4 PM. SIX FREAKING HOURS. I sm going to staple my license to my freaking forehead so I dont lose it anymore. I had put a hole in it to keep it on my keys, but I took it off and lost it So, then I go to unemployment to find out why they sent me a letter statig I hadnt worked and therefore would recieve no supplements.. Only the problem wasnt that I HAVENT worked.. I worked TOO much and they thought there was a problem . We start going down the list: Them: "You worked at Studio 6, Home Lodge, Hospitality Staffing" Me: "Hold the f**k up. I have had the same job for 3 years, and it was none of those places" Someone ass has stolen my social security number. So, now I get to call the credit bureaus and flag my social security number, get all 3 credit reports, and pray to God they're just some illegal person who needed a SSN to work, and havent gotten lots of crap in my name. This sucks.

I hate to hear that. I wish there was something I could do. Maybe that will be the extent of it and nothing else. Praying it gets resolved with no more problems. If you need me just call. Hugs, Debra

Kay, Just to let you know, calling the credit bureaus only puts the "fraud alert" on for about 90 days. If you find things on your reports that are fraud, you have to write to them. I didn't do that several years ago when it happened to me, so all the fraudulent accounts are still on mine. Good thing is, the person who was using my info was paying their accounts!! I know this is a pain, but it will work out!! Hang in there. Ann in Duluth

I'm sorry to hear that you are having so much trouble I will pray for a better outcome. Hopefully the person isn't someone that will use your information. I wish you the best Kay. God Bless, Tiffany.

That sucks! My identity was stolen a couple of years ago and the people did not pay the accounts they opened and it was a nightmare. The burden of proof is definitely on the victim. Also, since the person who used your SSN# was working, the employers were probably reporting the income to the IRS under your SSN#, which will show up to the IRS as income to you; I hope they dont want you to pay extra income taxes for it! You might want to call the SS office, under some cir****tances they will issue you a new #, but that is also a nightmare. You wont want to lose all the income you have earnd so far under your own #. GOOD LUCK!!!
