ALMOST THERE!!!!

I am usually just a lurker. But thought I would update. I have almost reached my goal. I am down to 157 I started at 267. . Good luck to all and have a very merry Christmas.

Surgery date was 5/11/04 at 12:00 noon (teehee)

Wow!!!! 6 1/2 months!!!! That is just wonderful!!! I stopped losing about 5 lbs shy of my goal weight (130) My surgeon told me that he thinks that my body just decided to stop losing after finding a comfortable weight. ( I am now 135) I went from a 26-28 to a 4-6, and you are almost there yourself! How are you doing on loose skin if you don't mind me asking? I got denied last month for plastic surgery due to medical necessity, but I just heard of a wonderful female surgeon in Atlanta that really goes to bat for her patients with the INS co's, and so I might look into her. I am not in any great hurry for my surgery, I have two small children, but I dream of having a flat tummy! Anyway, I could problably ramble on and on. Come out and chat more often, I have been a member since August, and everyone here has been really great! Cathy Martin
