I haven't even done my protein either? I'm 9 days post ops and really need help! Lisha H

Hi Lisha! I got mine from GNC - they are chewable...It's a HUGE bottle, and I think it was about $20 but I have had it since my surgery in July. I am just now running out... I use Unjury Protein... unjury.com I personally like the chocolate, and I mix it with skim milk in the mornings and drink it like a "carnation instant breakfast". It is supposed to be good for sensitive stomachs... I have heard MANY that enjoy the chocolate, or the unflavored... Hope this helps a little.. I also take b12 from GNC, 2-3 flinstones a day, and I get my iron from BariatricAdvantage.com. -Tami

Hijack here! Tami, I was taking the iron from Bariatric Advantage, but then I noticed that the chewable Flinstones I'm taking (2/day) have my required iron in them (either 15 or 18 mg). However, I'm feeling really tired. I'm a month out and feel wiped out. I'm taking the sublingual B-12 twice a week, but now I'm wondering if I should start with the iron again? Dr. Hart won't do bloodwor****il Jan. Ideas?

Hi, Lisha, I order my Calcium Citrate capsules from Vitalady online. They're big, but I have not had trouble swallowing them since the beginning. I also get my protein drink from Vitalady. I drink ProScore 100 chocolate. I blend it with skim milk. It's great...no after taste. Hugs, Becky

Hey Lisha, I use the Unjury unflavored protein powder. I mix it with everything. http://www.unjury.com/?D=080204 And I use the Optisource vitamin since it has everything we are supposed to have. And it is chewable and taste like orange. http://www.walgreens.com/search/search_results.jhtml?term=Optisource§ion=A I hope this helps a little. If you need anything, yell. We are here for you. HEy Lisha, I use Citrical. I find it cheapest at Wal-mart. I take 4 a day, 2in the am & 2 in the pm. I actually chew them up and wash them down with some liquid. They are a little chalky tasting but not unbearable. I had my vitamin levels checked about a month ago and my calcium levels checked out good Good Luck, Tonya

Lisha, I take Viactiv Calcuim. It taste good . It's a chewy thing kind of like a piece carmel candy. It comes in strawberry, carmel , orange, chocolate and vanilla. My doctor recommended it. I chew one after lunch and one after supper. I take a multi vit. in the morning and a b-12. I drink Isopur Protien . I mix it with 12 oz. 2% milk or skim and put 1 scoop of protien powder and 3 packs of splenda and 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring and put it in the freezer for about 20 minutes, it taste like a milk shake. Hope this helps. Judy
