awww man...
Well I know I am a part time lurker with only posting a few times here, but wanted to let you all know how great it was getting your messages of good luck for my surgery...as you can see, I made it to "the other side" and am feeling fine and dandy.
I am a week out and am still trying to find some things out for myself and TRYING to all the water, protein, vits, etc in. So far, I am doing pretty good, but could be better on my water intake.
I STILL have not made it to an event, but really want to. I was thinking of going to the Christmas one, but my husband is having his surgery on Dec. 2nd, so I know I'll be with him that weekend. Please keep us both in your thoughts, but mostly my husband as his day comes closer....I know I never got an angel or secret pal...but if you have another time when you will be doing this let me know!!
Love you all!!
-Holley (Bug)
Hi Holley! I am so happy that you made it out of your surgery and you are recovering well. I will keep you and your husband in my prayers for speedy recoveries (and a safe surgery for him). I'm sorry to hear that you didn't get a secret pal or an angel, if I would've known, I would've been there. Keep us posted on you and your husband, and hopefully we'll meet at the next meeting. Don't be a stranger
God Bless,
Tiffany.
Thank you sooo much Tiffany for your kind words, as well as taking the time to express them. I am trying to get myslef comfortable by writing on the board more and more, so hopefully I'll not be a stranger for long. I would so love to get to the next meeting, by then hubby will be out of surgery and getting his feet.
Much love to you!

Hiya Tami,
Yes, we sure are going to be going thru this together...lol, so far he tells me he is gonna be the baby, b/c I have hardly made a complant and he just had his galbladder out a few months back and is sure he will be in the same kinda pain...oh well, we'll just have to see...
I am working on the lurkering and will be posting as much as I can, thanks for the kind push into the light!!
I know I'll be taking you up on the offer to answer questions, but right now I would LOVE to eat something that crunches!! lol
My husband does not have a support page, I'll have to ask him to look into getting his done, but if he doesn't I'll be sure to pass it along!
Much love

Hi, Holley, I'm so glad that you are doing okay!!! Tha****er thing is a toughy for most of us. If your hubby has a profile, would you post a link for us so we can support him? I think it is cool that the two of you are going through this together! We are here for you! Let us know if we can help!
Hugs,
Becky
Becky,
So glad to get your support, you all really are the best!
Yes, the water is STILL hard for me, I don't know what to do to make it any easier, I guess just time and practice.
No, Justin (my husband) does not have a profile yet, I'll bug him about it when he gets home tonight and post about a link when (and if , lol) he does it.
Thank you, I think it will help in the long run, with us doing this together. We don't have any children yet (one of my reasons for going through with this, I have had several miscarriages and want to take my weight out of the
equation) and that will make it easier for fixing meals and being able to go out to get our exercise in.
I am finding it out more and more, that you all are here if and when I need it !! Again, thank you! I will be sure to post if I need anything!
Much love

Hey Holley,
You have an angel if you want me. I have plenty of love to go around. I even know where Cartersville is since my brother just moved from there. I am glad to hear your surgery went well. Is your husbands surgery bariatric too? That will be so great if it is. You can help each other to explore and share things even more. If you ever need anything at all, just e-mail or yell. I have big ears for listening and broad shoulders for crying. So I am here if you need me.
Hugs,
Debra =^..^=
Debra,
You are such a giving soul, I see that you volunteer yourself almost every time someone is in need of an angel or just help in general. I would love your support!
lol, you know where Cartersville is...that's great, it really is a nice little town, my husband has grown up here and I moved when we got married, of course. Like most small towns (I'm from one myself) it is hard to be a transplant, I hope your brother is adjusting!
yes, my husband's surgery is bariatric and we are already sharing in the process (as you know so much goes into just getting approved!!! ) and the sharing and exploring will defiantly be are part of our lives!
Again, thank you for giving of yourself and I will be sure to take you up on your offer!!
Much love
-Holley
