Malabsorption of Meds.

I was curious if anyone is having problems with malabsorbing meds? I have bad allergies and take zyrtec daily. Well, lately I have noticed that it isn't working very well, so I thought maybe taking the 12 hr pill twice a day would be better. It isn't! I am still sneezing, runny nose, congestion, itching, UGH! I am going to make an appt with the allergist to see if maybe a nasal spray would be more effective. ANyone else have problems with meds? Tonya

my allegra hasn't worked for squat either. I've come to the conclusion it wasn't allergies after all, but a virus instead, cuz I had, and both my kids had it. Seriously runny nose, itchy ears, throat raw, etc. It took 2 wks for that mess to go away and finally it has, but now (thanks to my asthma) it has wiggled it's way into my lungs and I have an infection in my chest. I'm going to have to go to the doc for the bronchitis, and I'm going to ask for (ACK!!) liquid antibiotics.... To quote Kay...I bet it will taste like "ASS"! Hope you feel better dear Tonya!!

Hey Tonya, I gave up on meds a while back. I just carry Kleenex everywhere I go. If you find the soultion, please let me know. If you need me for anything, yell. Hugs, Debra =^..^=
