My "Thanksgiving" List
With our time of thanksgiving coming up I've been doing a lot of thinking lately and I just wanted to share some of the things I'm thankful for.
1)My life. I used to just get by....now I finally feel like I've been given the opportunity to LIVE again!
2)My spirit. As a "generally happy" person I've always been to one to be able cheer people up - but I feel like I'm finally able to really open up and take them in a bit closer and not fear getting hurt. It makes me feel free.
3) My OH Family. Everyone here at this board has made not only me - but all "new comers" welcome and I'm thankful that I can proudly say i'm a big part of that circle of friends.
4)My home family. God has blessed me with such a wonderful line of support in them. I couldn't go through the day-to-day without them!
5)The Holy Trinity. I know not everyone here believes the same things I do, but it my life HE has brought me the greatest source of strength and confidence. I know I would be nothing without HIS guidance in my life!
I'm greatful more than anyone could know to have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people through having this surgery.....it has done so much more for me than just help me loose weight.
I hope everyone has a wonderful, safe and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!
All my love,
Dee Dee
This is a lovely post, Dee Dee! The last year has been the worst because life can be tough and the best because of the faithfulness of our Beloved Savior. Thank you for honoring and giving praise to our Lord!!! I want to be close enough to Him to hear His voice when He whispers in my ear. I am most thankful for Jesus! Happy Thanksgiving to you!!!
Love back at you!!!
Becky
Beautiful Dee Dee!! Thank you for sharing and reminding us of how fortunate we are, irregardless of the battles we may be dealing with in our personal lives.
We have the love of our families, the love of our friends at home and here, the love of The One Above, and now...a better quality of life.
Have a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving.
