Going to have to wait, it suxs

Well I talk to the surgerons office again and well they told me that my surgery would probably not be until after the first of the year, Which means Im going to have to come up with my $600 deductible before I can get my surgery, Which I dont have that kinda money laying around. Im have met my deductible for this year so I really wanted my surgery this year, but the surgeron is going to be out for 2 weeks in Dec and I dont even see him for my review until Dec 3. Im so upset, I have cried so much just knowing now that I may have to wait months before I can get my surgery due to not having the money. Jennifer

Jennifer, I know exactly how you feel, I am gonna have to wait also until Feburary or March before I can have surgery. I am having to do a 6 months weight loss history for my Insurance Co. I also am gonna have to pay my deductible again for 2005. My surgeon is not in my network & I am gonna already have to pay around $5,500.00 for my out of network part plus now more for deductibles. I'll probably have a out of network deductible also, so I know exactly how you feel. I have Cigna Insurance & they are awful. You have to have everything just like they want it, they won't let you slide for anything. Good luck with your surgery. Hope you get a date soon. Tammy Gunter

Jennifer, I really do feel for you, I'm having to wait until January to see the doctor that can send the letter to the insurance company for approval. It really does suck having to wait, ecspecially when it's something so wonderful that you've wanted for so long. All I can say is to try and take your mind off of it. It hasn't been easy for me either, everyday I try and think of something that I can do to make this process go a little faster.
