I am so hurt and aggravated...........

About 2 weeks ago some of you may remeber about having to have some couseling before surgery. Well I went yesterday to registar at mental help and found out that the next appt they have available is the second week of Dec .I am not able to pay for a private counselor so there is no other way to go but wait. so my surgery That was supose to be Nov 30th has now been couseled and it looks like surgery want be until Dec are possiably Jan . God is in Control But i am hurt so now we wait more. P.S the good news however is I get to come toour Christmas gathering.

Im so sorry you have to wait, dont feel too bad , it is all in Gods timing, I have been approved and seen all the doctors I need to see and I cant even see the surgeron until Dec 3 and then I wont even get a date until after the first of the year and I will have to pay my deductible again. which is $600 . but its all in Gods timing.

Is there a chance there is a waiting list so you can be called up if there is a cancellation?

I'm sorry to hear about the cancelation. I have the same problem. I need to change my pcp to someone who is more wls friendly and I will have to wait until after January 1st to get an appointment. At least you are only waiting for one thing. Like the other members said, in Gods time it will come. Just try to take your mind off of things for a while. Do the things that you wont beable to do after the surgery (eat some of your fav foods... yum!). Before you know it the date will be here. I wish you the very best. Keep us posted. Sam, I am sorry about the chain of events. Selfishly speaking, I look forward to seeing you at the Christmas party. On the other hand God is looking out for you, I think this will be a good time for you to sort some personal things out first. You reallly need to make sure that your head is right.
