I thought I'd see what the GA folks thought about this: I was just in a corporate meeting about this. Iv'e had them before, but they mentioned something new this year. You can now use it for over-the-counter medicines as well. I asked if it covered vitamins and other supplements, and he said no. Then, he went on to say if you just buy calcium, you can't use your FSA, but if your dr. tells you to take calcium it will. So, I'm wondering if we get our doctors to write a "prescription" for multi-vitamins, iron, calcium, B-12....could we use our FSA money? What do you think?

According to the rules of the FSA put out by our company you can use your FSA for any over the counter med w/o a RX. I plan to use mine this year for all my supplements. Tonya

Thanks for your response! I'm going to ask my dr. for a RX/note for my supplements.
