Ok guys. Here is a predicament I wonder if anyone has been in. I had my RNY one year ago November 4th. I had my year check up appointment with my surgeon and due to having an existing hernia he wants to repair we were going to squeeze in the tummy tuck with it together. My surgeon felt pretty good that my insurance would pay for them together. I was also going to try and get a breast reduction as I have gone from a 42DDD/F to a 34DDD. My back hurts and I have constant neck strain even though my breast tissue is non existent I still have so much skin it fills up a DDD bra. Anyway... I have an appointment with the Plastics guy on November 29th. My husband's company just announced yesterday they are switching from Blue Cross POS to Aetna HMO. I am scared to death that this change is going to screw me over. Incidentally the change will happen on December 1st. I called the plastics office to see if I can get in earlier and they say no way. They say they take Aetna HMO but I don't see them in my book. Any idea's on how to proceed? I am freakin out and even though the plastics aren't 100% necessary I would like to have a 'normal' body and get rid of these boobs that are killing my back!! Anyone have any experience in changing insurances or had plastic surgery approved through Aetna HMO? Thanks Penny

I will pray for you, it's sad that they can just change like that. You would think that it would be better if they gave everyone a notice or something. I personally think that your breast reduction should be medically necessary since you have back problems. I wish the best for you Penny. If you need anything, let us know. God Bless, Tiffany.
