X-MAS DETAILS IMPORTANT

Okay, Y'all. I am a very busy person these days and I am trying to get everything together, so here we go. 1. For all of you that are planning on bringing a dish, please post on the board so we can have an idea of what you are bringing. 2. Suggestion: Instead of doing a whole bunch of elaborate cooking, I would try to make appetizers, because most of us can only sample and the smaller size is easier. 3. We need to make sure whatever we make is enough for at least 50 or better. 4. We are going to need something to eat on and with, so if anyone would like to volunteer to bring plates, spoons and forks that would be great. 5. Because this is a time for adults (due to the bar) it would be great if we could leave children at home. Also, spouses, significant others, friends or grown folks are encouraged to attend. 6. I have purchased miscellaneous decorations for the table from the dollar store, but if you have additional items you wish to donate, please let me know. 7. Secret Pals--I have thought about this and feel that it is unfair if your secret pal doesn't show up, so if we would all like to do a gift exchange, we can. But I think we should just bring a gift that is unisex and we will distribute at the end of the night. This way everyone gets a gift. Also, if you have a guest coming, have them bring a gift so they can get in on the fun. LETS KEEP THE GIFTS AROUND $5.00. 8. I believe that Bingo is over at 5p.m., so I will be starting to set up soon after that. If you would like to volunteer to help, please let me know via e-mail. 9. Because of the generosity of Kay's mom, we have this room for free. We will have a bartender that works solely on tips, so if you can bring a dollar and put it in the jar when you come in, it would be a nice gesture. 10. Music, who wants a party without music. Does anyone have a friend or family member that is a DJ and would like to volunteer their time or services? I have worked on this list for a week now, so please let me know if I am forgetting anything. Also, please let Kay know if you are having surgery in December so she can get your bag together. I would like to attend this event but don't have an email anymore just moved and no computer at home so if the directions and instructions aren't on the web then I can't see them. hmmm will you be posting them on the board like you guys to the info for the dinners monthly. EVENT DETAILS Saturday, November 4th at 6p.m. till whenever. The location is the VFW on Forest Parkway in Forest Park. I don't have the address yet, but will post as soon as I do. I hope this helps for all the preliminary plans.
