Tri Care Insurance

I am inquiring for a friend who has Tri Care Insurance and is having a difficult time finding a surgeron and hospital to accept this insurance. She has been approved for the surgery; she just has to find a hospital and surgeron that will take the insurance. HELP! Does anyone know where she can look in the state of Georgia? JJ

When you first enter this site (main entrance) click on local support, then click on your state, then click on insurers, click on T for tricare... on this page there are people who've had the gastric bypass surgery, with tricare for their insurance. Almost all of them list their surgeons!! I have tricare also, but I haven't had the surgery yet. This is where I looked for more info. I hope that you find what your looking for If possible, keep us posted on how your friend is doing, I am having trouble getting my pcp to write a letter to the insurance company, I would love to hear how she has gotten to the point that she's at now. Also try Dr. Sidney Appel. He just did my daughter's surgery and is doing great. He uses dekalb Medical Center.
