5 1/2mths, -203lbs!
Today we went to see our surgeon. My surgeon did a triple take at me, and had this HUGE grin on his face. He told me numerous times just how proud he was of me. He said he was thrilled with my results. It seems my scales are weighing me too heavy. That's a good thing though, should have seen my face when it said 412 pounds! So I'm now a member of the double century club. That's 203lbs gone!! Kenneth then talked with him. It seems he's going to try and work Kenneth in for DECEMBER! You should have seen my eyes when he said that, of course pending insurance, but he felt it was not going to be an issue. They've not had one denial yet. Realistically we are thinking around Jan 6th. He also said there was a great chance he would be able to do it Lap, but that would be with his associate, who specialized in it and he would assist. It would be like me, they would go in with a scope, see if there is potential hernia problem, etc., and if not they would do it Lap. So we will see, but it's going to be soon for his surgery. I had my blood work done today and have to see how that turns out. I feel 100% so I don't think there is anything off, but you never know. I walked all over the hospital today. I guess the best story was...
I went to get my blood drawn, so in the waiting room there was not chairs without arms. I just stood up to wait, it wasn't long anyway. So we get in the back room. They have these chairs with the arm rests on both sides so they can rest your arm to draw blood. I took one look at the chair and thought "oh no I'm never going to fit." The lady said chair 2. I went over there and just knew I'd need something different, but I thought what the heck I'll try it. I could not believe myself, I FIT plenty of room to spare. I almost lost it in the blood bank. I don't think the nurse ever saw someone so darn happy to have their blood drawn!
Gosh I love this new life of mine.

Whenever I hear a story like yours it brings tears to my eyes. I am so happy for you and Kenneth! I know what it is like to be overweight, and I know what it is like to not fit in smaller places. I feel like I am the one who lost the weight! I love hearing people talk about how their lives are changing. I cannot tell you how excited I am for you. I hope that you continue to lose ****il you are comfortable). I wish you the best in life. I hope that you have so many more memories just like that one. And please, share! Reading stories like these makes weight loss so much more valueable, and when I get my surgery (soon I hope!) I will make sure to return the favor.
Congrats to you and Kenneth, God Bless, and take care!
Tiffany.

Please continue to keep us posted on your success. I love reading about you. I'm addicted to this message board. I lurk. I don't always post. But I get so much inspiration from you and so many others here. Take care!!!
