obesitysolution patients...?
Hi all!! I was just wondering...have any of you gone to the exercise program they offer? I think it is around 15 a week? Or, if I remember correctly, I believe someone told me that for 30. you could go once, and they would tell you what exercises to do at home to firm up. Any opinions? Heck, everything else they do is great, so this probably is too!!
Kathy
Is this the one at the Rehabilitation Center? I called and they said $50 per month which I thought was a bargain. Did you hear they were offering a one time program? I would love to do that and learn what to do at home
Unfortunately, I wanted to sign up for their monthly program, but they are only open until 6:30. I could never make it to their from work in time on a regular basis...but I could figure out a way to get their for their one time instructions
Hi Kathy, how are you doing? Must be doing pretty good to be thinking of the program already. I am just walking around the yard and a little up the street right now. I went for an evaluation before surgery. Got some tips on my walking. I was already doing the treadmill and some weights at the gym, but wanted to make sure I was doing the right stuff. I had some pain on top of my foot and up my leg in front. Come to find out it was cause I have a heavy heal strike. So he slowed me down and said to include an incline to the treadmill. Any how he checked my pulse and BP to make sure everything was OK. Said not to worry about speed and distance as much as keeping my heart rate in the target range. And he sent me a paper with the exercises to do at the gym for max effect. When I got ready to leave I went to the front and asked how much I owed and the lady called him and asked and said nothing. I thought that was a really good deal. When I went to the gym and put it into practice I had no more pain. I think if you have to do water that they have a pool I'm not sure. They have all the equipment there and somebody will work with you til you are comfortable with it. Good Luck!!
