Approved or not?

Good afternoon everyone! How are things with all of you? I'm very excited. I called medicaid this morning after I had another round with Emory and found out that I was approved for my surgery on Nov. 5. I turned around and called Emory back. I was told that I have to wait for their decision to show up in the database at the precert dept. I think this is just ridiculous. I am so angry with them. They really need to get their act together there. I mean, they are supposed to be professionals. A body couldn't tell it by the treatment I've gotten there. Dr. Khaitan and her medical staff are wonderful. The coordination staff are serious slackers. I asked Kelly if I could call the precert dept myself, but she said no. She told me that she would send them an email to let them know that I had talked to medicaid and that they could call them. I even doubt she will do that, and if she does, it will just sit in the inbox. Anyone have any suggestions? I hate to sound like a whiner, but I just have never dealt with such unprofessional professionals before. Hope everyone has a great day! Take care!
