I've been approved!!!!

I just got off the phone with my insurer about 10 minutes ago, and according to the rep. I spoke with, I've been approved! OMG, I can't believe it! My insurer is faxing the letter to Dr. Duncan's office, so hopefully we can the ball rolling soon. Thanks to everyone who gave me encouragement not to give up. Special thanks to the light of my life for never letting me lose my focus. James

Congratulations!!!! I hope you get a surgery date soon. I have Cigna & just found out yesterday I was denied my 1st appeal, what did you do to get them to approve you? And if you don't mind me asking how long did it take? My papers has been sent in since August & I'm still fighting with them about the 6 month weight loss history. I have weight loss history dated back in 1987 when I was 17 and up to now but none of it has 6 months in a row, so that is what is holding me back. Let me know when you get a surgery date.
