my surgery
HI ALL! I just wanted to post a great big thank you to all of you for your support, well wishes and prayers. A special thanks to my Modean (aka Tami) and to Debra for the visit.
Dr. Procter and his staff are SUBERB! What a wonderful bunch of caring, compassionate people! I was throughly comfortable with Dr. Procter as my surgeon! I went in, not nervous at all. God had assured me that I would be fine, and I am!
I had a pretty good bit of nausea the first day...I think a reaction to the drugs...so I got more drugs till I went to sleep But, here I am at home, ready to go back to work! I am so bored!
For those of you considering the surgery..it is a personal choice. But, if it makes you feel better...I know everyone is different...but the pain is minimal. I don't even feel like I have had surgery! I do take some lortab at night, but that is because I always have a back ache, and usually sleep on my stomach . Since I can't do that, I have an ache.
I started my protein drinks and my vitamins today, and have held everything down! I am not even hungry!!
Dr. Procter is a Godsend!
Thanks again everyone!
God bless!
Kathy
