WLS story on Today Show

Hi friends, I jus****ched Al Roker preview the Dateline story and he interviews a lady from the Atlanta area who husband died from complication of the surgery. The lady's husband had his surgery at Northeast Medical center and the doctor was from Obesity Solution. The husband died from complication of bleeding ulcer and blood clots in his lungs. Later this morning on the Today Show is going to feature teenage considering the surgery. TammieG.

I missed this, but this is my doctor I will have to ask him about it next week when I go for my Pre-op appt

Hey Tammie, I know who this guy was. He had his surgery a few days before I (I think it was a few days) He was at the hospital when I was there. She had told us that he had a lot of problems going into the surgery. He was then transferred to a hospital in Atlanta since that was closer to where they live. I am sorry to hear of his passing as he was a kind and gentle man. He will be missed. I wish I could have seen the show. Thank you for the info. Have a blessed day. Hugs, Debra =^..^=
