B4 I get hysterical, Is this normal?

Hello All, I am 17 days post-op, my tummy hurts, when I swallow or drink water it feels thick and foamy. Is this normal? Anyone experience anything similar?

It varies per person, and no two folks go through the same thing. When in doubt, CALL YOUR SURGEON. Your pouch should not be hurting for no reason...Call. Denise

It could be you are drinking to fast, that can cause your pouch to feel like it's hurting. When I drink to fast it will hurt for maybe 15-30 seconds and quit, however if you are having persistant problems, make sure to call your surgeon's office. Amy
