Why.....am I still suffering?

I would like to know am I the only one that has found out that I was approved but BCBS still haven't sent me or Dr. Duncan any paperwork? Does this happen to everyone?

Lisha, I never received paperwork from BCBS. Hopefully, Dr. Duncan's office will receive it soon!!! Congratulations on your approval!

Thank you Becky! I'm trying to be patient but I was told I had to wait for one of us (Dr. Duncan) to get an written approval before they will assign me a surgery date? Has anyone else went through this? Lisha

It happen to me. I call and call them bac****il they fax or mailed it to me and my Dr. Good luck....keep bugging them. Martha

I never received any paperwork either. I wonder if it is diifferent with different doctors? I never saw any of it. I was told it was sent in and accepted. Wish I could help. Call the insurance and ask if they have sent them yet. If not ask them why and bug them to death. At least that's what I would do. My prayers are with you. Hugs, Debra =^..^=

Thanks everyone for their thoughts and prayers! I have called them (BCBS) today and they are telling me First they sent me a later and now they didn't send me a letter that I can request one. Now Dr. Duncan office do not call to find out the approval? They said that is something they do not do and that they leave that up to the patients. I know they are busy but we are suffering. What can I do but call and but everyone everyday until someones wants to help the memeber or the patient.... I tell you wait for an approval get it but still having troubles getting the doctor and the insurance company together in order for me to have the WLS. They really don't know what they are putting me through....?
