Will BCBS cover lap bands?

Has anyone heard if BCBS of georgia will cover lap band? At this point BCBS will only cover gastric bypass per the certificate booklet. TG

I have heard that they will not. I have a friend who had the surgery in June, and they would not do it. She had RNY. But, maybe they have changed... Good luck!
