Great dinner story.....

Hi. all. I went to Dinner at a local Italian restaraunt last night for my birthday. I had a little bit of salad.... 1 roll (I used to eat the whole basket!) and I ordered Ravioli...... So... I start eating the Ravioli and after 1.5 huge ravioli, I pu**** aside, because of course I am full. I am still engaged in the dinner conversation with my friends, and one of the owners (a very italian man....) comes up to me.... puts one hand on my shoulder and the other hand is pointed to the food that I have pushed away... He did not say anything, but he look on his face said (in my bad italian accent) What you donna likea my food???? I of course had to say.... Oh I have had stomach surgery and cannot eat anymore... He appologized for my stomach surgery... and He said would you lika a toga platea? I said yes, I would love to take it home. I laughed all the way home. Isn't it amazing how people jump to conclusions when you push the plate away!!! He was going to be offended if I told him I did not like it. But man it was good, and I will be having lunch and dinner today! Just thought I would share a great dinner story that made me laugh! Connie -44lbs
