I got a question,, or confession :)
I was wanting to run this by ya'll , I'm doing great so far actually easier than i thought , The having to eat the pureed and soft food is no problem . I am doing good with that ,, The thing that i am missing or thinking of is, I miss crunching food and chewing , espeacilly crunchy stuff .
SO , what i have done a few times and has worked great , Is i will get several Potato chips and chew them up til they are mush and then savor the flavor then spit it all out . Now i make sure i do it while standing and stairing at the wall or at the sink so i can stay focused NOT TO swallow .
So far i have don it 5 or 6 times and it is very satisfying and i have no problems . OH yeah by the way the reason i stare at the wall cause if i sit at the table or stare at the TV then i'm afraid i will swallow out of habit . LOL
I think this is not a bad thing it teaches me to chew my food really good and to think of what i am doing and i get my taste and crunch satisfied with no harm or calories .
Please give me ya'lls thoughts i am all ears .

I would recommend you not do it, because it's so close to swallowing. This is just my opinion. I did the same thing with popcorn, so I know from experience that the next step is eating. Think of it as an alcoholic gargling with liquor. Hope this makes sense!
I would also strongly recommend that you keep your great sense of humor!!!
