UPDATE ON WANDA.....

Wanda is back in the hospital. This makes the 3rd time since sugery 15 days ago. She's throwing up bile and is trying to get some answers. She's fixing to have a CT scan, please keep her in your prayers and if you have a moment, please send her your well wishes on her surgery page. Amy, Thank you so much for the update, she has been on my mind all day today. Do you happen to know what throwing up bile could mean for her? I am going to her surgery support page now and she is in my prayers.. Thanks, Cathy Martin

Cathy, It's very possible it's a leak. HOWEVER they have done several leak tests that are coming back ok. It's really weird that it's bile as I told her that's not normal. Most people here that have throwing up problems don't have bile in with it, unless there is a problem somewhere. I've never heard of it, but stranger things have happened. Amy

Thanks Amy..Do you ever have days when no matter what you do, you just can't get someone or something off of your mind? I feel so badly for Wanda, she has had such a rough go of it. She seemed to get really nervous before her surgery, and now all of this has happend. I guess the best thing that we can do for her is send her our prayers, and If you get any more info, will you please update us. Thanks Cathy

Yep I know what you mean and I will make sure to let you know. I told her to call me or have her family call if they find anything were they might have to do surgery again. I will be calling her back tomorrow to see what they found out. Amy

Hmmmmmm , makes me wonder too , when i had my episode last SAT. with all the meds . i took , the last 2 times i threw up was bile , and then i felt fine. no more problems since then . I just thought it was because i had reached a point where i was empty and when i reached bile i had finally threw up the pill that was causing problems. ( anyones input is great). I will pray for Wanda , i wasn't so sure i wasn't going to have to go back . We will be thinking of her , please keep us updated . Travis

Bile can mean gallbladder. Does she still have hers?

My prayers are definitely with Wanda! Bless her heart...I have followed her posts since before her surgery and witnessed how scared and nervous she was in anticipation. I firmly believe that prayers and the skills of the hospital staff will bring her through this. My prayers also go out for her family and loved ones as I know they are beside themselves with worry and concern. May all be eternally blessed! Pat
