APPROVED!!!!!!
Yes!! Got the letter today from USHC, and they are "pleased" to let me know that they will pay for the surgery!
Called Dr. Freeman, and I have a tentative date of.... NOVEMBER 18!!!!
But hubby is cranky now, since I told him... I think he's being passive-aggressive worried. This is for ME, not him...

Congratulations Lorri!!!!!!!!!!
Give your husband some time to adjust to the news, he problably was like mine and didn't think that the Ins would actually approve it. You will get ALOT of support from us here, and in the meantime he will come around. Let us know how things go with your pre op stuff.......

Congrats Lorri!!!
Your hubby is worried and probably feeling a bit insecure about all of this. I know my hubby was. He was very very supportive and gosh has treated me like a queen since my surgery but he is finally admiting some of his fears that he never expressed to me prior to surgery.
I'm so happy for you. I'm still learning what my new life will be like now that I'm a whopping 1 week out!
Heck, you and I will be the 'losers' at the Horse Fair won't we.
Congrats!!!!
Robin
Hee!! Yes, we will be the Horse Fair losers! I'm going to try to get Foundation Appaloosas there again -- this time I have Joe Man, my Gracie filly, and I might have another Foundation bred filly there, if the trade goes through!
And I'll get to RIDE Joe in the Parade of Breeds, and maybe get someone to lead in the fillies (unless they'll pony...) -- won't that be FUN!
I've got a show I'm committed to show in, I'm taking Gracie, may take the new filly too. Wow! I might be able to RUN in the halter classes showing them by then!!
This is just wonderful -- I want the surgery to be NOW!!
