BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS I HAVE LOST 22 LBS..... SO YALL SAY A PRAYER FOR ME.......... OH AND WHILE I WAS THERE THATS WHEN THE PLACE FELL I HEARD IT I SAID OMG THAT SOUNDED LIKE A PLACE FELL WELL GUESS WHAT IT WAS............................. THANKS WANDA
Wanda,
Glad to hear that you are doing okay. Congratulations on the 22 lbs, that's GREAT!! On the Prevacid issue, I was on it for 3 months after my surgery. That was my doctors protocol. I don't know if that is why I didn't have any major problems, but I could sure tell the difference when I went off. Keep up the losing, and you have my prayers for a Fast, Full recovery..

Hey babe,
I'm Dr. Hixon patient too and Im still on prevacid. Here is some other advice I learned along the way. Before you eat something new (other than liquid) chew a pepcid complete or before taking meds. IT really worked for me. Especially since you and I both have fobi's. Im 8 weeks out and carry a bottle around with me everywhere. But ya know what. Less and less do I feel like I need the med. So hang in there it does get better.
22 pounds how wonderful is that!!!! Good for you. Hope your enjoying the lose clothes..lol
take care,

Hi Lynn...can't tell you how relieved I am to hear fellow Fobi's have the continued need for Pepcid. When I asked surgeon Dr. Burrowes about a refill after the first month, he said you don't need that anymore...or you shouldn't! I said...well, I certainly can tell a difference when I don't use it. He did tell me to call in 2 weeks to schedule a test to check, but did give me a refill for another 3 weeks. I don't take them every day...but reading your posts, maybe I should, without feelingGUILTY! Dang, southern wimmen do that best, don't we? The guilt thing! lol Thanks for the info.
