HELLO:
i WENT TO HIS SEMINAR AND THOUGHT ABOUT GOING TO HIM. I HAVE ALL MY TESTS DONE AND HE HAS THEM BUT I HAVE HAD TROUBLE GETTING THE PEOPLE IN THE OFFICE TO CALL ME BACK WITH DATA OF WHAT ELSE IS NEEDED BEFORE WE SEND OFF TO INSURANCE COMPANY. SO I HAVE DECIDED TO GO TO ANOTHER PHYSICIAN. HE HAS ONLY DONE ABOUT 30 SURGERIES AND EACH AND EVERYONE I HAVE TALKED TO THAT IS POST-OP RECOMMENDED TO GO TO SOMEONE WHO HAS DONE MORE THAN THAT. HE IS NICE BUT THE STAFF, THERE IS A PROBLEM. ANYWAY GOOD LUCK
MARY
Hi Mary,
Sorry I missed your call yesterday, I was in a meeting and didn't have my cell phone turned on.
(It has been a crazy busy week!!)
To answer your question, I am not sure how you should handle your file...I guess if you wanted to play it safe, you should go ahead and get Dr. Scarborough to release your file (they will probably give you a copy, not the original) to you.
I'm glad to hear you are considering using a surgeon who has done more than just 30 surgeries... I would be pretty nervous about that.
Take care!

Kenefra, I am sorry to apply late. I had surgery done by Dr. Scarborough on 10/13/04. I am still not feeling well so I haven't been reading the boards that much. I can say, I had my ups and downs before the surgery however other than just not feeling well, I am pleased with his work. I did expect to have laporscopic surgery and was surprise that it was open, then I was reminded his procedure is a combo. Dee and Pam have been great. If you want to email me, please feel free and I will answer whatever questions you may have. J
