IN PAIN!!!!

Just needed to "whine" a little...I got my second steroiod epidural in my spine today...it hurts really bad right now .... just need a little sympathy!

BTW...my diagonosis is spinal stenosis (narrowing of the spinal cavity/puts pressure on spine and nerves), degenerative disk disease and 3 bulging disks and sciatia.

So sorry that you are in pain Chris. I can't tell you that I know how that feels, but I can tell you that I know how it feels from a daughters prospective. My mother had the same thing that you have, after years of the shots in her spine, she took the plunge and had spinal surgery. She is much better now, but all of the pain will never go away. Now she has to take alot of different meds..I hope that the injections work for you, and I will say a prayer for you that your pain will go away.. Cathy Martin

Sorry you are in so much pain. We all have times of pain and unfortunately thats life. I do hope your pain will subside. My prayer for you: "Father God, I pray this hour for Chris to be touched by your healing hands and that she know the peace if your merciful grace. God I ask that you ease her pain. Lord spare her from the disease that has caused her so much pain. God I know through you miracles are possible. I pray your perfect will be done. Chris, I hate to say it but I know exactly how you feel. I have the same problems with my back plus sever arthritis in my spinal cord. I am fighting it so hard, going on my 14th year now. Had surgery in Dec 99 and it only made it worse. All I can do is offer you my prayers and heart felt wishes that you have more good days than bad. That is why I had my surgery so I could hopefully get out of this stuipd wheelchair when I go places. If you need me, call we can comfort each other. Hugs, Debra

Chris, I feel your pain, literally! I have re-aggravated my problem since having my surgery in July. I have degenerative joint disease, 2 bulging disks and sciatica. I went to get out of bed a couple of weeks ago and my legs went completely out from under me. It was a few minutes before I could get up - very scary. My weight loss has caused a "shift" in how I carry my weight. I had an MRI today and go back to the Orthopedic Surgeon Thursday. I hope for relief from this pain for both of us! Patti
